There are nine schools within our square kilometre. We liaise with them principally on planning and traffic matters. Schools are under frequent pressures to improve their buildings and facilities. Travel Plans, parking and congestion at drop-off and pick-up time are common issues. We are currently helping schools to encourage more pupils to cycle to school, but to do so we need better routes. Playground matters are a hot topic.
